Green Painters
Global Decorating are proud to be Accredited GreenPainters.
We are fully qualified to advise on sustainable painting products and practices, and have been trained to specialise in Eco-Friendly paint products and adhere to an environmentally friendly Code of Practice.
We have both management and action plans in place to ensure we are doing all we can for the environment through green practices.
All of our premium paint suppliers are members of GBCA (the Green Building Council of Australia), and we only use paints which contain low or Zero VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compounds), because:
- They are low or no odour (less or no toxic paint fumes)
- They are safer for your health
- They are safer for our painters’ health
- They are better for the environment
- They do not yellow like an oil solvent paint
- They are 100% carbon neutral – certified ‘greenhouse friendly’
Ecolour Paints are all Zero VOC. Dulux Paints provide Low VOC paints such as Enviro2.
Clean-Ups
At Global Decorating we use the Dulux Envirowash System which is an environmentally responsible paint clean-up and water management process. It’s the cleaner, greener way to dispose of paint wash up.
